The France Marriage Certificate is called a Copie Intégrale de l'Acte de Mariage or Extrait D’Acte de Mariage which is issued by la Mairie (Town Hall). Civil marriages are legal in France and are recorded locally in the townhall. There is no central register.
France Divorce Certificate
The France Divorce Certificate is called Jugement de Divorce du Tribunal de Grande Instance or Jugement de Divorce du Tribunal Judiciaire or Attestation de Depot de la Convention de Divorce par Consentement Mutuel where the issuing authority is Greffe du Tribunal de Grande Instance/ Greffe du Tribunal Judiciaire where the judgment was pronounced. Or a Notaire in the case of Attestation de Depot de la Convention de Divorce par Consentement Mutuel.

The France Identity Card is called French national identity cards. French national identity cards have been issued in their current form since 1955 and are voluntary.
