The Honduras Death Certificate is called a Certificación de Acta de Defunción Exhibit D which is issued by Registro Nacional de las Personas (RNP). All deaths must be registered with the Registro Nacional de las Personas within 3 months. Late registration is allowed and incurs an additional fee.
Honduras Marriage Certificate
The Honduras Marriage Certificate is called a Copy of Marriage Folio (Copia de Folio del Libro de Matrimonios) which is issued by Registro Nacional de las Personas (RNP) where the marriage occurred. There is no time limit for marriages to be registered but the marriage will not be legally valid until registration takes place.
Honduras Divorce Certificate
The Honduras Divorce Certificate is called Copy of Marriage Folio (Copia de Folio del Libro de Matrimonios) where the issuing authority is RNP Registrar.
Honduras Identity Cards
The Honduras Identity Card is called the Cédula de identidad. The Cédula de identidad is an electronic ID card, compulsory for all Honduran nationals at the age of 18.
