All births must be registered at a Local Civil Registry Office within 30 days of the date of birth. Late registration is allowed. The Philippines Death Certificate is called a Death Certificate which is issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or the National Statistics Office (NSO) before 2013. All deaths in the Philippines must be reported to the Local Health Officer within 48 hours of the date of death. The Local Health Officer must administer the registration of the death with the City/Municipal Civil Registrars within 30 days of the date of death. Late registrations are allowed. Death certificates are issued following the registration of all deaths in the Philippines.
Philippines Marriage Certificate
The Philippines Marriage Certificate is called a Marriage Certificate/Contract which is issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or the National Statistics Office (NSO) before 2013. All marriages in the Philippines that require a marriage license must be registered within 15 days of the date of marriage at the National Statistics Office. Marriages that do not require a marriage licence, must be registered within 30 days of the marriage taking place. Late registration is allowed. Marriage certificates are issued following registration of the marriage.
Philippines Divorce Certificate
The Philippines Divorce Certificate is called Divorce Certificate where the issuing authority is appropriate court. Divorce was recognized in the Philippines between March 11, 1917 and August 29, 1950. Since the latter date, courts have been empowered to grant legal separation (annulment) but not divorce. Even during the period of legal recognition, divorces were rare in the Philippines because of limited legal grounds for granting divorces. In some instances, Sharia divorces may be available.
