Romania Death Certificate 

 
The Romania Death Certificate is called Certificat de deces which is issued by Office of Vital Statistics (“Oficiul Stării Civile”) of the local Mayor’s Office. Deaths in Romania must be registered as soon as possible, with the local registry office; the registry office will issue a death certificate to allow burial to take place. The National Registry of Person Records holds a central registry of all deaths in Romania. The Romania Death Certificate issued in Romanian, French and English. 
 

Romania Marriage Certificate 

 
The Romania Marriage Certificate is called Certificat de Căsătorie which is issued by Officer of Vital Statistics (Ofițer de Stare Civilă) of the local Mayor's Office in three languages: Romanian, French and English. Marriages are conducted at the registry office in the area where the bride or groom lives. The marriage register must be signed before the registrar or mayor, and a certificate will be issued. There are two types of marriage certificate in circulation, including: 
Certificat de Casatorie (older version) 
Extras al Actului de Casatorie (new version) 
 

Romania Divorce Certificate 

 
The Romania Divorce Certificate is called Sentință Civilă (if issued by a Romanian court); Certificat de Divorţ (if issued by the Vital Statistics Officer of the Mayor’s Office where the marriage took place, or where the spouses had their last common residence, or by a public notary) where the issuing authority is A divorce decree issued by a court, registered and archived by the regional court; or A certificate of divorce issued by the Officer of Vital Statistics or by a Public Notary when both spouses agree with the dissolution of marriage and clauses. 
 

Romania Identity Cards 

 
The Romania Identity Card is called Carte de identitate (identity card). The Carte de identitate, informally known as buletin, is mandatory since age 14, then reissued at 18, then at 25, and then every ten years until the person reaches the age of 55, from which there's no need of reissuement. The person bearing the buletin is required to reissue it everytime a notable modification, such as name or address modification, occurs.
