What information do you need to begin a UK residential trace

All we need to start a trace is:
Full name of the subject.
Full last known residential address.

Can you trace an individual without a previous address?

Yes, a trace is still possible even without a previous address. It does vary on each case, depending on how common the name of the subject is and if you can provide some other relevant information, such as DOB.

What is your current success rate for finding individuals?

Our tracing services continue to achieve above a 90% success rate

What sort of individuals can you trace?

We are happy to trace anyone you want to find with 'reasonable cause' such as debtors, ex-partners, beneficaries etc. Due to the reasons of some traces, the request may need to come through a solicitor. Please call us for more information on 0121 449 3045.

What happens if the trace is unsuccessful?

We will always do everything we can to find the person but if this is not possible, we will let you know everything we have managed to find out at no cost.

Our agents will make a maximum of three visits at an address, for the standard fee.

No, it is impossible for us to guarantee that your documents will be served / our agents will be able to make contact at the address. We can prepare an affidavit that can support an application for substituted service.

How do I pay?

We will raise an invoice once the job has been completed.

What is a 'Service Address'?

Every director MUST provide Companies House with both their residential and service address.

The 'Service Address' is the address that will appear on public record. The address must be a real address so it cannot be a PO Box address / DX number.

Can my company start trading immediately?

As soon as the formation is complete the company will be active and ready to trade. We will notify you as soon as your formation is complete.

Why do directors need to provide their residential address?

Since 01.10.2009, directors MUST provide both a residential & a service address. The residential address will NOT appear on public record. You can use the residential address as a service address. The residential address will be kept by Companies House and will only be available to Government bodies such as HMRC and Credit Reference Agencies.

If I use your registered office service, how will I receive my post?
